Koko the Clown was the iconic silent-era cartoon character created by Max Fleischer for Inkwell Studios. Debuting in 1919's "Modeling" (Out of the Inkwell series), Koko became a star of over 100 shorts through the 1920s

Known for his rubber-hose animation style, black bowler hat, white face paint, and mischievous personality, Koko often interacted with live-action Fleischer in groundbreaking "out of the inkwell" gags. His adventures featured surreal humor, wild chases, and Betty Boop's early appearances
