After years in the industry (working with Blade HQ and designing for WE Knife/Civivi, including the iconic Banter in 2020), he and Athena launched Knafs to create quirky, approachable knife-related products that fit his personality—starting with a knife knowledge poster packed with facts and humor
The name "Knafs" is a playful, tongue-in-cheek twist on "knives." Early growth came from Ben's online presence, collaborations, and community engagement. The business went full-time in 2022, expanding into original knives (like the Lander, Lulu fixed blade), tools, apparel, and accessories—emphasizing fun, quality, and value in everyday carry knives and EDC gear
