In 2022, GiantMouse Knives—the Danish-American collaboration founded in 2015 by Jesper Voxnaes, Jens Ansø, and Jim Wirth—released the ACE Nibbler (GMACE series) as the smallest folder in their lineup. Debuting in July 2022 (with first looks and dealer drops around July 28–August 2022, highlighted at Blade Show and in reviews), it expanded the affordable ACE production line (launched 2018) with a compact, keychain-friendly design inspired by the cartoon mouse Nibbles (Tuffy) from Tom and Jerry—playful yet practical
Designed by Ansø and Voxnaes, the GiantMouse ACE Nibbler features a ~2-inch modified Wharncliffe blade (just under 2" cutting edge) in N690 (satin, aluminum handles) or premium CPM-20CV (satin, titanium/Micarta variants) for excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. Weighing ~2–3 oz, it includes a liner lock, bearing-equipped pivot for smooth action, wide nail nick (some with flipper-like flick), reversible bent wire pocket clip, and textured handles (aluminum colors, green canvas Micarta, titanium)—ideal for discreet EDC knives, fifth-pocket carry, or lanyard use
Priced ~$95–$185 MSRP (China-made for accessibility), it earned praise for nimble utility, fidget factor, stout build, and value—quickly becoming a favorite in mini EDC folders and keychain knives. Variants in red/purple aluminum and premium scales followed, reinforcing GiantMouse's reputation for refined, fun, high-performance pocket knives
