The Mountain of Skulls (Chichén Itzá's Tzompantli, or skull rack) is a chilling archaeological site in Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. Built by the Maya between 800–1200 CE, this massive stone platform displayed thousands of human skulls—victims of ritual sacrifice and warfare
Excavations reveal over 180 carved stone skulls and niches once holding real crania, likely from captured warriors or nobles offered to gods like Kukulkan. The Tzompantli symbolized power, divine favor, and cosmic order—skulls fed the sun and ensured rain, fertility, and victory
Spanish chroniclers described similar Aztec tzompantli in Tenochtitlan holding 60,000+ skulls. The Chichén Itzá version, near the Sacred Cenote, was a public monument of terror and piety
Today, it stands as a stark reminder of ancient Mesoamerican ritual violence, human sacrifice, and the complex worldview of the Maya civilization

Why G10?
G10 creation is a fascinating high-pressure laminating process that produces one of the toughest composite materials used in knives, electronics, and aerospace.
G10, also known as garolite, is made by stacking multiple layers of woven fiberglass cloth (typically E-glass) impregnated with thermosetting epoxy resin. The layers undergo pre-drying to a B-stage, then are stacked, compressed under extreme heat (up to several hundred degrees) and high pressure in a hydraulic press until the epoxy fully cures into a dense, rigid sheet.
This creates exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, near-zero moisture absorption, superior electrical insulation, and chemical resistance—often outperforming metals in demanding environments. Fun fact: The "G" stands for glass, and "10" refers to its NEMA grade for top-tier performance. Popularized in the 1980s for knife handles, G10's durability makes it nearly indestructible and perfect for textured, colorful custom scales
