Zastava M83 grips

Zastava M83 grips

Designed in 1983 by engineer Rodoljub Matković at Crvena Zastava Arms in Kragujevac, the M83 (also known as R-83) was originally created for export markets. This all-steel, double-action/single-action revolver drew inspiration from the West German RG-38S but was significantly strengthened for military and police use

Featuring a 6-round cylinder chambered in powerful .357 Magnum (compatible with .38 Special), a swing-out cylinder, fixed sights, and solid K-frame-sized construction, the M83 combined rugged reliability with classic revolver aesthetics reminiscent of Smith & Wesson and Colt Python influences

Produced mainly in the late 1980s and early 1990s (variants marked M83/86, M83/92, M83/94), it later equipped Yugoslav People's Army NCOs and regional police forces. Today, these surplus revolvers are prized by collectors for their heavy-duty build, smooth single-action trigger, and historical Cold War-era significance

Perfect for enthusiasts of Eastern European firearms, surplus revolvers, or powerful .357 Mag handguns. Built to last – a true combat magnum from Serbia
