Tanfoglio large frame medium grips

The Tanfoglio large frame medium (also known as Tanfoglio T95 Combat / Force / Limited Medium frame) is the iconic Italian evolution of the CZ-75 design, optimized for IPSC Standard and USPSA Limited divisions

In 1995–1996, Tanfoglio engineers led by Giancarlo Tanfoglio created a hybrid frame to solve competitive shooters' biggest problem: full-size CZ-75/Tanfoglio clones were too long for the 140–141 mm IPSC box limit, while small-frame models lacked weight for recoil control

The breakthrough Medium frame (also called "large frame medium" or "Combat frame") combined the longer dust cover and slide of the full-size EAA Witness/Tanfoglio T95 with a shortened grip that accepts standard full-size magazines but fits the IPSC box perfectly. It features steel or polymer versions, extended safety, magwell, adjustable supersights, and legendary Tanfoglio single-action trigger

First presented in 1997 as the T95 Combat Medium frame, it immediately dominated European IPSC Production and Standard divisions. Eric Grauffel won his first World Championship in 1999 with a Medium frame Tanfoglio, starting an unprecedented dynasty—over 20 IPSC World titles have been won with these pistols

U.S. shooters know it as EAA Witness Limited / Gold Team Medium frame (pre-2018) and later Tanfoglio Limited Custom Xtreme / Stock II/III Medium

Today, the Tanfoglio large frame medium remains the gold standard for IPSC Standard and 3-Gun—Italian precision engineering that turned CZ-75 ergonomics into the most successful competition pistol platform in history
