Custom Pistol and Revolver Grips, Hand-Finished
Gun Grips X Svechnikov Workshop crafts custom grips for 105 pistol and revolver models from 38 brands. Each set starts with a rough sketch and a 3D prototype for a specific gun model, then it is machined on a CNC machine and finished by hand. The craftsman hand-paints the artistic designs and brings each set to its final finish with protective oil mixed with wax or yacht varnish. Materials: natural wood, G10, Micarta or carbon fiber

FAQ
What is the difference between 1911 grips?
1911 is no longer a model but a standard. Many companies use the name for the form factor of the legendary pistol. 1911 grips differ by frame size, Full-Size or Compact-Size, and by shape:
- Government (Standard): the bottom edge has a 45° bevel, the mainspring housing pin stays open
- Magwell: a straight flat bottom edge that covers the pin
- Bobtail: the lower rear corner is cut off diagonally
- Round Butt: a rounded bottom contour
There is also the Ambi Safety Cut. If the safety lever on your 1911 is duplicated on the right side, the right panel needs a relief cut on the back so it doesn't block the lever
Do the grips come with screws?
Not in the standard set: your gun already has its screws, and the grips fit the original hardware. Some grips designed at Gun Grips X Svechnikov Workshop have their own fixing system, and those come with a screw
What materials can the grips be made from?
The list is open, here is what is in the catalog now:
- Amaranth
- G10 Black
- Karelian birch
- Maple
- Micarta Ivory
- Padauk
- Walnut
- Wenge
Gun Grips X Svechnikov Workshop keeps experimenting with materials and adding new ones
Can I send my own material? I have a piece of rare wood!
Yes, you can. If possible, send it with some to spare, because I have no room for error
How fast can you make a set?
Usually two weeks. When there are many orders it can stretch to a month. Be patient, my friend
Do you take custom orders?
Of course. Modern software, years of experience in developing styles and knowledge of materials let me control the whole cycle, from a sketch to the finished grips. Bring any request
