Laugo Arms grips

Laugo Arms was founded in 2001 in Trenčín, Slovakia (ancient Roman name: Laugaricio), by a group of passionate firearms designers, including chief designer Ján Lučanský. Initially an independent design firm, it collaborated with Česká zbrojovka (CZ) on projects like the early CZ Scorpion EVO 3 prototype

In 2017, the company relocated headquarters to Prague, Czech Republic, reincorporating as Laugo Arms Czechoslovakia s.r.o. with partners Ondřej Poděl (former CZ marketing director) and investor Daniel Selichar. The mission: revolutionize firearms with bold, boundary-breaking innovation using modern technology and materials

Development of the flagship Laugo Arms Alien pistol began around 2013 under Lučanský's patents. Featuring a gas-delayed blowback system, fixed low-bore-axis barrel, non-reciprocating top rail, and exceptional flat shooting, it debuted at IWA OutdoorClassics 2019 in Nuremberg—stunning the industry with its futuristic design and performance

The Alien launched commercially in 2020 (U.S. via Lancer Systems partnership), quickly gaining acclaim as one of the most advanced semi-auto pistols. In 2021, Lučanský and Poděl sold shares; production expanded with models like Creator Evolution. Laugo Arms USA opened in 2023 for direct American sales and support

Today, Laugo Arms remains a Czech innovator, renowned for high-end, revolutionary firearms like the Alien—pushing precision, low recoil, and optics integration to new levels

Celtic gates (doorways, arches, thresholds) symbolize transitions between worlds: life/death, mortal/otherworld, known/unknown. In Celtic mythology and art, they represent portals to the Sidhe realm, spiritual passage, protection, and rebirth—often adorned with knots, trees, or animals as guardians of liminal spaces
