Fox Knives Military Division FKMD Forprene handle scales

FKMD (Fox Knives Military Division) was established in 2005 by Fox Knives, an Italian manufacturer based in Maniago, to separate military and tactical production from civilian lines. Fox began supplying the Italian Army during the 1982 Lebanon mission and later became an official NATO supplier (N/CAGE CODE: AG180). FKMD focuses on rugged, full-tang fixed blades using premium N690Co steel, Forprene® handles, and designs input from military professionals

Key models in the popular Forprene tactical/survival family include:

  • Parus (FX-9CM06): Robust 175mm bushcraft/survival knife with survival kit in sheath
  • Rimor (FX-9CM07): Versatile 175mm all-rounder with excellent balance for outdoor and tactical use
  • Predator (FX-P1DC): Compact fighting/utility knife, highly ergonomic
  • Others like Parang, Golok, and Kukri emphasize heavy chopping performance
